So after seeing Bora Aksu's show at London Fashion week (read my blog post about that here) I was inspired to try a similar hair style as his models. Super easy to do! Just plait your hair as you would for pig tails, then pin the plaits across your head.

I love this outfit, it's girly yet edgy, the jacket and shoes help rock it up a little <3 The sun was in the perfect position to create some dreamy lens flare!

So in love with this jewels from Wanderlust! Read my blog post about them here.

Have you ever tried a Milk Maid braid? Would you know after hearing how easy it is to do?

London Edge Trade show

On the 3rd Feb I attended London Edge Trade show! I went along with The Blogger Programme and Amy Valentine and got to meet so many amazing brands! I'd never been along to anything like it before so wasn't sure what to expect. There were lots of stalls with over 700 alternative brands showing, there was even four fashion shows with great music and choreography.

Quite a few brands were showing new collections which aren't released yet so I couldn't always take pictures of the stalls. Felt rather exciting getting to see an exclusive peek into what's coming out soon!

I loved the range of styles at the trade show, heavy rock to pin up. I loved discovering new brands and getting to talk to them about their products, not something you get to do every day.

I was very drawn to the Crazy Color and Manic Panic stalls! I've never used Crazy color before, but I have used Manic Panic. Their cotton candy pink was the first pink dye I'd ever used! Loved it so much, it's just hard to get here in the UK for a reasonable price unfortunately.

Iron fist's collections were amazing, so many wearable pieces and the cutest shoes!

New Rock I'd never heard of before, but their leather jackets were SO buttery soft. They are rather pricey but their look and feel is certainly of a high quality.

Other brands I met included: DisturbiaKillStarThe Oxford Bag CompanyPamela Mann Young Britannia

Friday 14th February I got to attend London Fashion Week! Originally I was not planning to go as I unfortunately wasn't invited to any shows. Then I was contacted by ZDF German Television who wanted to do a fashion story about Youtube and Haul videos, they wanted to film me earlier in the week, then take me along to fashion week on Friday. What an exciting opportunity so I said yes!

They kindly sorted me a pass and I went to Bora Aksu's show, which was so amazing. Now I won't lie, I'm not one for following many designers, maybe surprising for an outfit blogger! But I find a lot of bloggers come from a fashion degree background and I studied photography. I prefer the look of things, I just really like putting outfits together. But I was really excited to see a show and experience everything and I LOVED IT! The collection was beautiful, a lot of items were very wearable, and the models were so feminine and ethereal looking.

Above are stills from my vlog

I loved the play of textures and fabrics, the symmetry and shapes were perfect. I adored the models hair too, if you saw my instagram you will see I attempted something similar.

I did filming with ZDF then met up with some lovely blogger babes, then had some drinks with Boohoo and some Youtubers. Find out who in my vlog if you are interested!

In the evening I went to the Pam Hogg show as Kayla got us invited <3
I didn't really get to see much of the show as we were quite far back, but here are some stills from my vlog.
Yeah these don't do anything justice!

Had an amazing time! A big thank you to ZDF for taking me along.

Now onto the giveaway!

Wanderlust Jewellery

 Jewellery c/o Wanderlust Jewellery

I'm so happy I found Wanderlust jewellery! Ever on the hunt for jewellery I've not seen before, I was in love with these pieces! THAT ring! It's sterling silver too which makes it even better, so no need to have to add clear nail varnish to prevent green fingers.

The necklace is so dainty and the moon gemstone and feather details are so pretty. The chain is silver plated.

The bracelet has such an amazing texture and layered look to it and fits my little wrists well. Something I often find hard, bracelets that fit me. It's £8.99 which is feel is very reasonably priced! If that was in Topshop it would be well over £10!

Their branding is so pretty and the packaging is so thoughtful with even hearts cut out of the cardboard <3 The ring came in the most magical little bag patterned with moon and stars! Perfect little thing to keep for when you need to keep your jewellery safe whilst traveling.

Which item is your favourite? Be sure to check them out and tell me what else you like from them.

Use code "LEANNE" for 10% off your order for the rest of Feb!

On the 29th Jan I attended Missguided's SS14 Blogger Party! I always have a special place in my heart for Missguided as last year their SS13 was the first ever Blogger event I attended. This blog post is up a little late but I wanted to also include my vlog from the night too <3

I went along with Melon Lady, Amy Valentine, Zoe LDN, Glameramo & Olivia, and got to meet lots of Bloggers I've been speaking to for so long finally in person!

Such a fun event with cocktails, food and music, not forgetting some amazing clothes too!

I adored their new collection, seriously lusting over so many styles and items. I was really drawn to the pastels, patterns, whites and minimal styles with the play of sheer fabric or textures. They really are upping their game each time, I say this every time Missguided release something I swear!
