So on Wednesday it's the Company Blogger Style Awards in London!! And thanks to you guys I'm nominated for the Best Personal Style Blog! Again a massive thank you to everyone who nominated and voted for me to win my category, all your support has been so amazing and I'm just lost for words that I'm even nominated! I'm so excited to go to the event, I'm looking forward to seeing lots of my friends there and also finally meeting some lovely girls I've spoken to for so long via the internet. The blogging community is so lovely, I'm so so happy I'm a part of this all!

I've narrowed my outfit ideas down to these two, and would love for you guys to decide which I wear to the awards. Both dresses are from Missguided and they fit like an absolute dream! I was SO impressed with them when they arrived. They look even more amazing in real life than on the website, I felt like such a princess!

For the second outfit I'm now thinking of different shoes. I loved the white shoes in the first outfit so much I also ordered them in black for the second outfit!

Also I would love your input for jewellery ideas! I'm thinking no necklace, but maybe some bracelets and rings? Also what sort of bag and in what colour for the second outfit, arrrgh decisions!

I've always wanted a low back dress, there's something rather sophisticatedly classy, yet sexy about them. Balanced out with the right length and not too much showing off at the front, you end up with a winning combination. 

I love how versatile this handmade dress is, you can adjust the back so it sits higher and tighter, meaning it's not as long. I wanted it low at the back so I belted it making it a more flattering length on me. It's perfect for all heights this way!

Cage City Meets Photoshoot!

At the start of the week I ventured down to London for a shoot with Cage city!

I styled these 6 outfits myself and had a fun mini shoots in their studio, see my interview on their website here.

I've been following these guys for a while now, I love seeing their shoots with other bloggers, seeing how everyone comes in and styles things in their own way. The stock is amazing! SO MANY amazing Mink Pink and Evil Twin times, I was in love!

Cage City is perfect as they are on trend but different, also stocking an amazing range of independent designer pieces.

I thought a jumpsuit would work well as a day date outfit as it's fashionable yet practical. You could even get away with wearing footless tights underneath to keep warm! Depending on what your date entails you could always change the shoes to boots, but I thought a small heel would help dress it up a bit and not look too casual.

I'm all about layering at the moment, a top underneath the jumpsuit adds nice contrast and some extra warmth. Layering necklaces is a big thing for me too, and adds something extra to the outfit.

For Valentines, the evening at least, I love red hues, burgundy is a beautiful rich colour and looks so classy! I'm in love with this dress! As it's very figureless I added a belt at the waist which made the dress hit me perfectly at the knee.

To keep warm throw on a coat over your shoulders and you are good to go. It's the evening so you will be indoors somewhere most of the time surely anyway so no tights are needed.

For extra glamour I added glittery shoes, I felt so classy and lady like in this! Now to find a man to whisk me away on a date *sigh*.

I took the bag from day to night by removing the straps so it's the perfect clutch bag, how versatile!

My Birthday!

So the past two weeks have been a little quieter than usual here on my blog, this is due to my birthday & sorting out my room. Blog sale soon!

The week before last was when my birthday celebrations began! The Thursday was spent in town with Jade and Sarah. We shopped and enjoyed the sun shine. I was on the hunt for a backless stick on bra which could disconnect at the front as the playsuit I planned to wear from Missguided had a mesh panel down the front and I didn't want it showing. I went EVERYWHERE! Last place I looked was Primark and they had the exact one I had in mind for only £5!

That night we all went out in Norwich with Jacqueline as well, we danced the night away and got to escape the packed dance for in VIP.

On the day I ventured to Cambridge with Jack where we went punting long the beautiful river <3 This bridge was in Harry Potter!

Sunday evening we had a meal with my family where I wore my Missguided dress with a Topshop Blazer, my Baia pouch and some heels.

We ate so much food at a local Chinese restaurant, then back at home my parents surprised me with a cake and they all sang happy birthday <3

I feel I should have done my hair in plaits so I would be the polar opposite of Wednesday Addams, but in a sleeveless number of course as it's sweltering still in the UK! The title works as I took these on Wednesday.. but uploading this on Thursday kind of spoils the effect.. ops!

I adore the colour of this dress, as I said in my May Haul video, I needed more day dresses and this is perfect! So simple and a colourful take on a classic. The mesh collar detailing is so pretty and adds a nice contrast.

Got a little carried away when taking these pictures, look at me being more of a poser than usual! Whilst taking these near where I live, an old woman came over trying to tell me off for taking pictures as she lived near the wall... dear oh dear! So here's me rebelling and posing away ^_^
