In the Swing of Things

 Hat / Zara
Dress / Asos
Kimono c/o / Inlovewithfashion
Shoes / New Look
Rings c/o / Shop Dixi
Nail Varnish / Essie "Ballet Slippers"

Another outfit from my trip to Thailand, this shall also feature in video form soon on my youtube channel as part of my holiday look book :D

I love how both the dress and the kimono hang, it gives such a relaxed and carefree look, really loved this outfit! Getting lots of wear from this Zara hat, still need to get more colours! Thinking black and burgundy for this cold season <3

Feels like a dream that I was in Thailand last week! Still suffering jet lag, hoping to get back to normal soon!

Thailand Holiday

 Dress / Asos
Body Chain c/o / Rock'N'Rose
Shoes / New Look
Humming Bird Ring c/o Jana Reinhardt
Nail Varnish / Essie "Ballet Slippers"

Welcome to the beautiful backdrop of Thailand! This is in my friend's back garden, by the pond we fished in that day! And I actually caught a fish! Now onto the outfit.

If you follow my youtube or instagram you might recognise this dress! It's a maxi dress by Cheap Monday I purchased over the summer from Asos. May look slightly different now though as I cut off the straps which sat across the deep arm holes, I found those a tad pointless. This dress is seriously the most perfect maxi dress! It's so simplistic, light and adds subtle reveals with the splits along both sides.

Before I would usually belt it to add some shape, but then felt I couldn't wear a necklace as it would look too fussy. I resolved this though with wearing a body chain, this added simple jewellery and cinches you in to add some shape, kills two birds with one stone!

Rings are all beautiful stirling silver, all so dainty and beautifully classic.
The humming bird ring is a recent addition to my ring collection, and I'm so in love with it! I highly recommend to check out their jewellery and if you see anything you fancy use code "blogger20' for £20 off a full priced item <3

I love wearing my Bohemian Collective rings, the turquoise one is certainly one of my all time favourites, and looks so beautiful with sun kissed skin!

A big thank you to Jacqueline for taking these pictures for me, so nice to have someone take my outfit pictures for me for once! Usually it's just little old me and a tripod and a remote ^_^

Regal Rose

Regal Rose are a jewellery company I have been buying from since stumbling across their site back in January whilst at work searching for brands and bloggers. I instantly fell in love with their then gothic inspired jewels and bought  bird skull collar tips for a friend and the quarts necklace shown above with the garnet stone set in the top.

They are definitely one of my favourite jewellery brands, they have so many pieces I have fallen in love with! The silver wrap leaf ring is definitely going to be in my next youtube monthly favourites video! It works just so well with my current tan and favourite nail varnish, Essie "Ballet Slippers".

I'm heavily into sterling silver jewellery at the moment, due to the heat I find non silver jewellery makes my skin go green, and that's just nasty!

Of course I got some knuckle rings! As most rings can only really fit one of my fingers, knuckle rings give me the opportunity to jewel up! I do wish however this certain set came in different sizes as they feel a little big for me, they have flown off several times! Online it says they are an XS or UK letter size "L", which I don't agree with as my ring size is an L and they don't fit where a normal ring would. Knowing this I got a size small in the leaf wrap ring so it would sit like a normal ring :)

I do like how with a lot of their rings you can choose the sizing, whether you want it as a knuckle ring, normal or thumb ring.

If you watched my June Haul video you would recognise the knuckle rings and the lace ombre crown, here's a picture of the crown on.

Which are your favourite pieces?

Skirt / American Apparel
Rings / c/o ShopDixi
Bag / c/o Baia Bags

First thing my mum said to me when she saw this outfit was I looked like I was going to school ^_^ thanks! Well I happen to like this look, really loved experimenting with a graphic top over a shirt. Edged up the whole geek chic look with a bit of velvet and harness strap ankle boots.

I'd wanted the velvet skirt for so long! I always wait until American Apparel do discount, got 30% off this :D

The Bohemian Collective

I was first introduced to The Bohemian Collective after attending an Ax Paris Blogger event earlier this year, which you can read about here. In the amazing goodie bag from the night was the Sterling Silver Wish Bone Knuckle Ring! I instantly fell in love with it, as I'd seen knuckle rings on the internet, but never came across one to buy. Usually if I can, I prefer to try on rings as my fingers are really small, meaning most small sizes in places like Topshop are just too big! So I was greatly surprised that it did fit me!

I recently won their monthly instagram competition, a £20 voucher! (I never win anything, I was so happy!) All you have to do is hashtag #thebohemiancollective on a picture of your Bohemian Collective jewellery on instagram or twitter to be entered. I ordered the beautiful Sterling Silver Oval Turquoise Ring, and that weekend they also had an offer, each order received a free knuckle ring! Was a lovely surprise to receive the Rose Gold Wish Bone Knuckle Ring, I'm slowly building a collection of rose gold <3

What I love about The Bohemian Collective especially, is their beautiful range of sterling silver, solid gold and solid rose gold jewellery. They aren't plated so you don't have to worry about your fingers eventually going green or the hassle of applying clear nail varnish to the band to prevent that happening.
Also following them via instagram I can see that many items are handmade in their workshop, where they are always coming up with new designs. I'm always one to support companies from the UK, especially when things are handmade for their customers. It's nice to spend that bit more to get a unique non mass produced item which will last you <3

Shop Dixi

Recently I have stocked up on lots of beautiful jewellery! These lovely items are from Shop Dixi, who have an amazing range! If you know me you would know I love long necklaces and have lots of them too! So I really needed to get something different to balance this up! I chose three quite different rings to suit different moods and styles, and a short silver dainty necklace. I was pleasantly surprised at the different styles they stock!

Not being content with stopping there, I stocked up on even more! If you follow me on instagram, twitter or watch my youtube videos, you will know my current favourite ring is my silver knuckle ring by the Bohemian Collective. I saw Dixi had some as well, but theirs were thicker. They have them in silver, rose gold, gold, plain band sets and more! As I mainly own silver rings I decided on a gold set (as my fingers are tiny I can wear the larger as a normal ring as well). I also opted for the rose gold wishbone ring as I have no rose gold jewellery and wanted to try it! I love how they also say Dixi inside!

How pretty is the Crystal point necklace too! Crystal necklaces are one of my favourites! I even featured some in my first ever youtube favourites video.

I love Dixi's packaging, the little square envelopes are just so cute! I'm definitely keeping those and the draw string bags <3
If you would like to add some Dixi jewellery to your collection, you can use my code "LEANNELW" at the check out for free UK delivery over orders of £15! This code is only valid until midnight on the 30th June (GMT)
